Timeline (history)
Native historical / era timelines. Declare an axis with start and end years, drop labelled `event` points at specific dates, draw `era` bands spanning ranges (Bronze Age, Renaissance, Cold War), and stack lanes for parallel narratives (e.g. politics vs. science). Renders with smart label dodging so dense periods stay readable. Distinct from Gantt — built for centuries and millennia, not sprint days.
