What happens next

  • A person will review your report, unless the content is already blocked: then the report is filed with that block, without a review. So report each link on its own. We do not promise a response time.
  • If we find that the content breaks our terms, we block it. Anyone who opens a blocked link on our public pages then sees “This content was removed after a report.” instead of the content.
  • We can block content shared through flowss: embeds, shared project pages and slideshows, and their preview images. We cannot remove pages on other websites; report those to the site that hosts them.
  • We do not tell the person who made the content who reported it.
  • We do not send an automatic update about what we decide. If you give your email address, we may write to you about this report.

What a report keeps

  • The address you report (its first 8,192 characters).
  • The kind of problem you choose, and what you write.
  • A short excerpt of the reported content (up to 500 characters).
  • Your email address, only if you give it. We use it only to reply about this report.
  • Your network, as a keyed hash and a masked form (for example 203.0.113.x). Never your IP address itself.
  • An entry in our security monitoring log for the report: the time, the kind of report, your network in the same hashed and masked form, and your browser’s user-agent string. It is deleted after 30 days.
  • To stop automated reports, the form uses a check from Cloudflare, which sees your browser and IP address.

Our live view of who is on the site does not record this page. How long we keep reports is in our privacy policy.

Child sexual abuse material

Choose “Child sexual abuse material” in the form. Do not download, copy or send us the material itself; the address is enough.
