Decision Matrix — Structured Interview Scorecard

An anonymised structured-interview scorecard for a senior data engineer: seven competencies in two groups scored on a 1–5 rubric, with the coding exercise and data-quality testing as must-haves. Candidate D's 2 on the coding exercise ends their process; Candidate C ranks first at 3.95, only 0.10 ahead of Candidate B — a fragile lead that flips if system design's weight rises from 20% to 23.8%. Illustrative values.
